Send answers to Google Sheets
Every response becomes a new row in a spreadsheet that Agent002 creates for your form.
Set it up
- Open your form and go to Destinations, then choose Google Sheets.
- Choose Connect Google account and approve. We only ask for access to files Agent002 creates, never the rest of your Drive.
- Choose Create spreadsheet. It appears in your Google Drive, named after your form.
- Once the form is published, use Send a test. A row starting with
TESTappears in the spreadsheet.
How the spreadsheet fills up
- The first column is Submitted at (UTC); then one column per question, using the question’s label.
- When you add a question and publish again, a new column is added on the right. Existing columns stay where they are.
- Answers are written as plain text, so nobody can slip a formula into your sheet through a form.
- If Google is briefly unavailable, we try again (after 1 minute, then 5 and 30 minutes, 2 hours and 12 hours). The Destinations tab shows every delivery, and failed ones can be retried with one click.
Keep it working
- Renaming or moving the spreadsheet file is fine.
- Don’t rename the first tab, or reorder or delete its columns: new rows are written by position. Put your own formulas and charts on another tab.
- If you remove Agent002’s access in your Google account, deliveries stop and the Destinations tab says why. Connect again to resume.
Privacy
Answers sent to Google Sheets are stored by Google, which may process them outside the EU. That is your choice as the form owner, so mention it in your privacy notice. See the GDPR checklist.
